Celebratory Stationery:  Birthdays, Parties, Anything

This month we’re celebrating a momentous occasion - ten years of printing your photo memories, all 70 million of them! In keeping with the festive mood we’ll show you how Momento works a treat for hosts and guests of all manner of events. Our greeting cards can help you woo and thank your guests, while our photo books can collect well wishes, showcase the achievements of the guest-of-honour, and record the whole experience for future enjoyment.

Party Invitations

A baby's first birthday is a once in a lifetime affair so make it memorable with a unique and specially themed party invite – made with love by mum - just like Lilly’s. Melinda planned this card beautifully. She coordinated the clothing, the cake and the balloons in her gorgeous photo shoot then chose backgrounds and a font that reflect her cute, girlie colour theme. All the essential info, date, time, location and RSVP details are there, and by including multiple photos of Lilly we see a little more of her blossoming personality. You can buy them in packs of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200, with premium envelopes included.

Birthday Cards

Momento's greeting cards are a really meaningful way to wish someone happy birthday, and it only take 5 minutes and $5 for a single card. It’s a gift in itself because you’ve gone to the trouble of making something unique and you’ve thought up your own words. Grab some embellishments in Momento’s software to make it look professional and simply drop in a photo of the birthday boy or girl. The Pirates embellishment pack is great for little fellas, Sugar and Spice for the princesses and Comic Book for the big kids. Another option is to show off some of the kid’s artwork – it might even end up in a frame!

Thank you cards

When all the cake has been devoured and the streamers put away, send your guests and gift-givers a card featuring a group shot from the party on the front, with your message of gratitude on the inside. Leave some space for handwriting if you’d like to personalise them, and choosing our textured Art paper as a soft touch for wedding and anniversary thanks, and Matte cards for corporate use. This Dinomite card is a great example of how a full page photo combined with simple imagery and a font that suits the personality of the birthday boy.

Guestbook

Guestbooks are great for engagement parties, wedding receptions, 21st birthdays and family reunions as you can combine photos of the couple, the individual or the group with pages for everyone to leave a message of love, or words of wisdom. Keep the book short and simple with full bleed images on the left, and lined or blank pages on the right. Choose images that best represent the subjects, their relationship or their achievements, and the result will be a truly memorable keepsake. Landscape format and Satin 170 paper stock are best for writing purposes, and a ballpoint pen will give the best finish. See the entire guestbook here.

Personalised Gifts

'Some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our heart and we are never the same again'. This is a quote from a beautiful book by Karen for her brother-in-law’s 60th birthday, and it made me realise how important it is to let your loved ones know how much you care. The whole family got involved in the creation of Michael’s birthday book. They scanned old photos, combined their digital photo collections and wrote heartfelt messages, resulting in a This Is Your Life storybook that they presented and read together at his birthday lunch. This is what I’d call a true labour of love. Congrats! See Karen's entire book here.

Event Book

Let the party live on and preserve your special events in a photo book that will become a part of your family history archive. Your great, great grandkids won’t be able to read the DVDs and memory sticks of today, but they will be able to flick through a photo book to see all the important milestones of their ancestors. Making memory books can be as easy as picking a themed quickbook design in the Momento software, or choosing your photo folder and letting the auto-fill function do the work for you. Whatever you choose, don’t forget to celebrate life's special events and preserve the memories in premium hardcover photo books.

In 2002 Libby Jeffery and Geoff Hunt decided that their photos deserved better than 6x4" prints. They combined their expertise in software development with their love of photography and voila, Momento Photo Books was born. We continue to celebrate our birthdays with you every September.
